Recent research has shown the average price of a new build is currently £302,927, revealing a 27% rise since 2015. The areas that have seen the most significant growth are the East and West Midlands, with new build prices increasing by 35% and 32% respectively. London saw the slowest rate of new build price growth, reaching only 17%. In contrast to new build properties, average prices for existing property have only risen by 20% over the same period.
