The return of physical valuations across England has enabled lenders to re-introduce higher loan-to-value lending, with many now offering 90% and 95% products. This is good news for those consumers looking to take advantage of the current Help to Buy scheme which ends in March 2021.
While a new scheme will replace the current Help to Buy offering, it will be restricted to first-time buyers and have regional price caps. The new scheme will run from April 2021 to March 2023.
