James Chutter

Head of New Build Partnerships

James has over 20 years of experience in financial services, having worked with leading institutions such as NatWest and Leeds Building Society. Throughout his career, he has held key roles including Business Development Manager and Corporate Account Manager, earning multiple industry awards for his contributions.

With extensive experience in supporting brokers, marketing, and events, James has worked closely with The Mortgage Brain, helping to enhance services and strengthen industry partnerships. In his current role, he is responsible for managing relationships with key developer partners, ensuring they receive exceptional service that supports their customers throughout the mortgage process.

Beyond his professional expertise, James is a passionate sports enthusiast. He actively participates in and coaches CrossFit and is a dedicated season ticket holder for his beloved Bristol Bears. Committed to giving back, he has taken on numerous endurance challenges for charity, including an ultra-marathon, triathlon, bungee jump, and long-distance cycling events.

Kevin Hyman

Mortgage Specialist

Kevin has worked in financial services for over 15 years, originally starting out working as a cashier before quickly becoming qualified to advise on mortgages. Over this time he has worked in a number of bank and building societies as well as most recently working in a local whole of market mortgage brokerage, specialising in the new build market.

Kevin prides himself on providing exceptional levels of customer service from initial enquiry, right through to completion as well as looking after future mortgage reviews. He has a vast experience helping people purchase property, whether it be to buy their first home, move into their dream home or even as an investment. Kevin has specialism in working with the government’s help to buy and shared ownership schemes.

Outside of work, Kevin spends most of his spare time doing fun packed days with his wife and two young children!
